Record what has been offered

With a private sale, a buyer can communicate an offer directly to you. Keep a note of the amount, date and any conditions the buyer states.

The decision stays with you

Propeo does not assess whether an offer is good, tell you whether to accept it or negotiate on your behalf.

Sale agreed is not the end of the process

Once you decide to proceed, the legal work begins. In England and Wales the sale normally becomes legally binding later, when contracts are exchanged.

Hand over to the legal process

Give your conveyancer the buyer and transaction information they request and continue to answer factual enquiries through the legal process.

Need the deeper, step-by-step version?
